“Fabbriche Aperte”, a journey into the world of gelatine dedicated to local schools, thanks to Federchimica and Progetto Giovani Lapi Group

We are glad to have opened our doors to the students of the Ferraris-Brunelleschi School of Empoli (FI), on 19th of May.
A journey into the world of gelatine which saw the young students of 4th year of Biotechnology, section A, and 4th year Chemistry and Materials, section A and B, and their professors being the main protagonists.
After a warm welcome and a brief introduction from our Progetto Giovani’s coordinator, Sara Cerri, and RSPP Erika Pirrone, the students, guided by the Plant Director, Sauro Sagripanti, and the foremen Luca Matteoli and Leandro Mura, visited our plant and followed the production process up to our laboratory, where Chiara Pampaloni, from Quality Control, and Patrizia Marconcini, R&D, showed them the chemical analyzes and inspection that are carried out every day.

“Fabbriche Aperte” is an initiative launched by Federchimica, and which our historic holding company Lapi Group Spa has been promoting through the Progetto Giovani since 2011.
Our focus on the young students and on their education is something we have been carrying out with great pride, so that we can be part of their path towards the world of work.
