A concrete commitment to education, the local community, and the future of the next generation

Lapi Gelatine reaffirms its commitment to the local community and young people with a new initiative in support of education: the donation of 50 lab coats to first-year students at the “Carlo Cattaneo” Technical Institute in San Miniato. A simple yet meaningful gesture that is part of the broader Youth Project promoted by the Lapi Group.

Building a bridge between school and business, grounded in social responsibility

The lab coat donation, held on October 2, 2025, at the school auditorium, is much more than a charitable act: it represents a concrete commitment to building a stable connection between education and the productive world. Each lab coat, branded with the Lapi Gelatine logo, will accompany students throughout their laboratory activities for the entire course of study, serving as a tangible symbol of the company’s support for their educational journey.

As part of an annual rotation among the companies of the Lapi Group, Lapi Gelatine, based in Empoli, was honored to represent the Group for the 2025/2026 school year. The ceremony was attended by Director Fabio Da Lozzo, Marketing Manager Sara Borchi, and Maria Vittoria Galeazzi, Youth Project Coordinator.

Youth Project: investing in the future with strong values

The donation is part of the Youth Project, an initiative that for over ten years has actively connected the Lapi Group’s companies with local schools, promoting education, orientation, and work culture. Beyond symbolic donations, the project includes company visits, internship programs, meetings with group professionals, and discussions about the values guiding the Group’s work: respect, kindness, loyalty, fairness, and collaboration.

The importance of valuing the local community

As an entrepreneurial reality deeply rooted in the Tuscan economic fabric but with a strong international presence, Lapi Gelatine recognizes the strategic value of engaging with the local community. Initiatives like this — together with other open-door moments such as the “Open Factories” project, which welcomes students and families to our production facilities — aim to bring young people closer to the world of work, allowing them to experience firsthand the production processes, trades, and professionalism that animate the sector.

A hopeful wish for the future

With this gesture, Lapi Gelatine renews its commitment alongside students, teachers, and families, hoping that every lab coat worn will mark the beginning of a journey rich with experiences, knowledge, and opportunities. A small sign intended to inspire confidence in the future and encourage young people to believe in their potential.
