The Aquaculture Stewardship Council is a third-party consortium that guarantees the exclusive origin from fish farming of the fish raw material used by Lapi Gelatine. In other words, <strong>the raw material used<\/strong> complies with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marine Stewardship Council<\/a> standards, certified by <strong>Bureau Veritas<\/strong> which deals with inspection, compliance verification and certification services.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ASC<\/strong> is a <strong>certification program<\/strong> that is joined by application, on a <strong>voluntary basis<\/strong>. Using ASC certified fish resources, Lapi Gelatine helps to limit the damage caused to the marine environment by intensive fishing and protect oceans and local communities in developing countries. <strong>Farmed fish is more controlled and cleaner<\/strong>, healthier and safer for the end user. It is important to understand that through fish farming it is possible to <strong>reduce intensive fishing<\/strong>, due to the lowering of the biodiversity levels of the seas. Finally, the <strong>commitment to work ethics<\/strong> should not be underestimated, which is a fundamental element for obtaining this certification, as it takes into consideration, especially in developing countries, contrasting child exploitation, equal wages and use of female labor in aquaculture.<\/p>\n<h2>What is the ASC certification<\/h2>\n<p>The ASC is a relevant certification, increasingly requested within the supply chains in which our products are transformed to be then sold to the final consumer.
